Apple just wrapped up its WWDC 2025 keynote, and as expected, they dropped some major updates across the board — especially for iOS users.
A Brand New Look for iOS & More
Apple has finally launched its biggest design update since iOS 7 — and it’s huge. The new UI features:
Rounded icons
A redesigned Control Center
A brand-new material theme called Liquid Glass — translucent elements across the OS
A new "All Clear Mode" joins Light and Dark Mode
Everything now feels more unified, smooth, and future-forward across iPhones, iPads, Macs, and even Apple Watch.
iOS 26? Wait, What?
Yes — Apple is officially changing the version naming system!
So instead of iOS 19, you’ll be getting:
iOS 26
iPadOS 26
macOS 26 (with the California-themed name “Tahoe”)
watchOS 26, visionOS 26, and more
Basically, version numbers now reflect the year.
iOS 26 New Features (Highlights)
Typing indicators in group chats (finally!)
Live translation on iMessage, FaceTime, and even regular calls
Works even if the other person doesn’t use iPhone
